"Salsa" By Debra Tritt Kreiger

"Salsa" Watercolor 10.5"x8" on 140lb Arches Paper

I just love painting these colorful fruits and veggies. Pushing the color palette is exciting for me. And a bonus was the texture on some of the older peppers and the wonderful sunshine gracing the still life. Hope this brightens your day and inspires you to make some salsa!

"Peppers" By Debra Tritt Kreiger

"Peppers" Watercolor 3.5"x5" on 300lb paper

Here is another taste of the harvest. By the time I had gotten around to painting these they got a little wrinkled! Made for some interesting textures.

"Pepper" By Debra Tritt Kreiger

"Pepper" Watercolor 5"x3.5" on 300lb Arches Paper

This is a mini. I love to do these little paintings in between the larger ones. Gives me a little practice in painting a little quicker. I also wanted to try the 300lb paper which I like very much. On the original the colors are a little deeper. I used the layers of lettuce to give a different texture into the mix and to incorporate the complimentary color scheme.
