"Bluebirds of Happiness" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

8"x13.5" watercolor on 140lb Arches paper

I just loved painting these bluebirds! My dad gave me some of his reference photos to use, so I put a couple together and came up with this painting. They do make you smile when you see them!

"To Hear a Mockingbird" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

Watercolor 8.5" x 11" on 140lb arches paper

This painting has been on my to do list for awhile. While I was plein air painting in Gettysburg, this handsome, but sassy mockingbird seemed to be amused at what I was doing. He hung around and chatted awhile. Here he is on top a young apple tree in all his glory!
