During my Families "3 Generation Show" we are holding a fundraiser for the New Cumberland Fire Department. I did this painting of one of their Fire Trucks and it will be included in the fundraiser. My dad, who will be exhibiting has been a volunteer fireman since 1955. He was awarded Cumberland County Firefighters Hall of Flame Award and has been the Fire Chief, the Assistant Chief and a trustee for many years.
We thought it would be great fun to bring his life's passion along with the art exhibit!

It is so much fun to tell the stories of the sea turtles journeys. The visual is always very exciting to recreate. The little hatchlings not only have to dig themselves out of the sand they have to climb obstacles such as larger shells, stones and other debris on the beach. Pretty amazing.
You can view and purchase this painting at Brainvessel the Gallery, "3 GENERATION SHOW".
Opening reception Friday and Saturday Sept 7-8, 2018 7pm-10pm.

24"x18" watercolor on Arches 300 lb paper
Here is one of many inspired paintings from Maui! This green sea turtle came right up to us as we were sitting on the beach. He/she has been painted to be forever enjoyed and appreciated by everyone. Just watching them get out of the water is amazing. I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to see them like this. I can say the turtle conservation efforts seem to be working. If interested in purchasing this painting e-mail me at email@example.com.

This is a gift to my husband. Ten years ago we woke up to this view of Diamond Head in Oahu. What a awesome sight! The bonus was the two love birds sitting there enjoying the view. This has been on my to do list for a long time. It was challenging for me, but a good lesson in atmospheric painting!!
