"Red White and Blue" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

10"x14" watercolor on arches 140lb paper

I love natures natural coloring! I met these two wonderful birds, along with many others at Catoctin Wildlife Preserve in Maryland. Preserves and zoos are a great way to study birds and animals.

Please come see me and my work at the Lititz Fine Art Show on Saturday July 25th from 9am-5pm. My booth #is A9. I have many new paintings to add to your collections!

"Little Blue" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

8"x10" Acrylic on canvas

This is the second plein air painting I did while with my niece. We went to the Middletown boat launch with the Susquehanna Valley Plein Air Painters. The river was really high so I decided to paint this tree lined path right beside the river. I really liked the way the light takes you through the trees and if you look real close you'll see a little bluebird sitting on her house.
My niece painted a wonderful painting of the river. I believe it is going to be a gift for some one special!

20"x16" on Arches watercolor board

I'm just in love the the green sea turtle! Here is a underwater scene. I wanted to paint her/him in their most comfortable habitat. Hope you enjoy. Keep cool!

"Royal Mute Swan" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

11"x15" watercolor on arches 140lb paper
This painting was the inspiration of a trip we took to Iris Lake in South Carolina where they had collections of beautiful swans. It was spring and the colorful reflections were so much fun to paint against the white of the swan.

"Overcast Day on the Susquehanna" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

8" x 10" oil on canvas

This is a plein air painting painted from West Fairview park in Enola along the Susquehanna river. It was a overcast comfortable day.  My niece was visiting and we went out for her first plein air painting adventure. She brought along her water mixable oils for me to try. I enjoyed using the oils and am planning on working with them a little more in the future. I believe she is hooked now and plans to do some plein air painting from her home in Philadelphia. Looking forward to seeing her work!
She is a real ham!!
