This was started plein air and just finished in the studio. This is the Washington Fire House in Mechanicsburg located on Main Street. I chose this building to paint because I'm the daughter of a very dedicated fireman. I realize as I'm older the sacrifices these men and women make to assure our safety and well being within our communities. A big thank you to all!

Just finished with this painting of a mother robin, who was in residence in our yard. She seemed very young and inexperienced as she made several nest in our tree. I placed her on a beautiful rose-of-sharon branch that I had photographed from our friend Petra's yard.
