"Albino Cowries and Sand Dollar" 5.5"x7.5" watercolor on 140lb Arches Paper
These are shells I have in my collection. I've been trying to research what they are and I believe this one is a albino cowrie. Pure white with golden insides it's a beauty!

"Cowries" By Debra Tritt Kreiger
"Cowries" 5.5" x7.5" watercolor in 140lb Arches Paper
I've been doing some research to find out what some of my shells are called and where they might have come from. The shell posted is in the cowrie family. This particular one I believe is called a eyed cowrie found in the pacific. So many different shells! Hope you like.

"Beached" By Debra Tritt Kreiger
"Beached" Watercolor 13"x19" on 140lb paper
I'm working on beach paintings right now. I'll be showing my beach work in the vault in June at the Brath and Hughes Gallery in Mechanicsburg. I'm also doing a beginner watercolor workshop on April 21st at the Gallery. Beach season is right around the corner!
