"Autumn In the Pond" by Debra Tritt Kreiger
This is just finished. This is a resident of the Kings Gap State park pond. Capturing the lily pad as it has finished for the season and the textures and colors were great. I always say stop and really look at what is around you. You will be surprised at what you've been missing!

Work In Progress....
This is my current project. I am painting him with watercolors on 140lb Arches paper. He is a resident of the Kings Gap State Park pond. I just think he is gorgeous! What is creating a lot of textures and interest is the colors of the dying lily pad and the murky water. A lot of work to do yet, but progressing nicely.

" Amity Hall Boat Launch" By Debra Tritt Kreiger
"Amity Hall Boat Launch" 9"x12" Watercolor on 140lb Arches Paper
This is another plein air painting painted from the boat launch off the Amity Hall exit. The morning was bright and beautiful but windy. The clouds moved in quickly and changed everything. I tried to capture the puffy clouds and the brisk wind and bright sunshine.
I thought it appropriate to paint the huge American flag whipping in the wind, but standing proud.

"Water Tower at Kings Gap" By Debra Tritt Kreiger
"Water Tower at kings Gap" 9"x12" Watercolor on Arches 140lb paper
This is the result of my first plein air painting adventure with the Susquehanna Valley Plein Air Painters. I'm very pleased with the result. It was a really beautiful morning and I enjoyed it very much. This was a little tricky as I had a lot of green to deal with which worked out pretty well.
