This was a fun little piece to paint. How beautiful a dead blue crab can be is all in the eye of the beholder. I truly believe you have the power to see the beauty and good in all or you don't. Thank goodness my good friend Claire saw the beauty of this one. I painted this from a photograph she had taken from a beach in Cape Cod.

This is a sweet little painting I did of  tiny sparrow hanging out on a rather windy day among the cattails! I had to really look for him because he blends right into the background. I believe this little bird is called a chipping sparrow. He has a wonderful song to sing.

This is a little miniature painting I did of a wonderful Pennsylvania barn and farm. The bright sunshine shapes and colors are most interesting. I love to honor our farmers by showing the beauty they create in our landscapes. Happy to say this little painting was sold at Brath & Hughes Gallery recently.

I'm very pleased with this painting. I am studying wildlife art with Jason Tako and he has been very helpful and informative. I used my own photo and composed a nice composition. I just love it when everything comes together. Hope you like him!
