"Conch Shell" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

SOLD
6x9 watercolor on 140lb arches paper

This is one of my shell paintings that started out with inspiration from a box of shells. Just looking for something different to paint. The sand was the challenge and it has turned into a signature feature in many of my paintings these days. This painting has found its' forever home thanks to Lyn at Art and Soul Gallery on the 2nd floor of the West shore farmers market in Lemoyne, PA. Special thanks to the new owner.

"Heading Into The Deep Blue" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

8.5 x11.5 watercolor on 140lb arches paper

It is so much fun to tell the stories of the sea turtles journeys. The visual is always very exciting to recreate. The little hatchlings not only have to dig themselves out of the sand they have to climb obstacles such as larger shells, stones and other debris on the beach. Pretty amazing.
You can view and purchase this painting at Brainvessel the Gallery, "3 GENERATION SHOW".
Opening reception Friday and Saturday Sept 7-8, 2018 7pm-10pm.

"Treasures" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

13"x13" watercolor on 260lb arches paper

This is a painting inspired by our trip to Marco Island in Florida. The shells are abundant and just awesome. Look at all the shapes, sizes, and colors the sea produces! My concern for the oceans creatures are real when you see shells touched with oil as the large blue shell was. I cleaned it up a bit in the painting. See this new painting at Carlisle Arts Learning Center Exhibit, Reception is 5/19/17 from 6:30-8pm.

"Coastal Crustacean" by Debra Tritt Kreiger

Coastal Crustacean 15"x11" Watercolor on 140lb Arches paper

This was a fun little piece to paint. How beautiful a dead blue crab can be is all in the eye of the beholder. I truly believe you have the power to see the beauty and good in all or you don't. Thank goodness my good friend Claire saw the beauty of this one. I painted this from a photograph she had taken from a beach in Cape Cod.
