I am working on a group of paintings that will go together nicely or stand alone. Here I've created long paintings(1 of 2) with the little hatchlings as they move toward the ocean for their life-long journey.
Here my research took me to Maui, in Hawaii. There the green sea turtles are thriving and you can see them come up on the beach everyday. You can see this painting at Brainvessel the Gallery in Hershey.
This little hatchling is beginning his/hers life at sea. These little green sea turtles are amazing. You can see this painting at Brainvessel the gallery in Hershey.

This is another favorite painting of mine. The research for this painting came from the Big Island in Hawaii. Like I said before, the research is as much fun as the painting. There are black sand beaches (which are amazing to see), and on top of that I saw my first green sea turtle. They are amazing creatures. The green sea turtle like so many animals are being killed prematurely by pollution in the ocean which they mistake for food (plastic bags that look like jelly fish). We all need to be more mindful. You can see this painting at Brainvessel The Gallery in Hershey.

Just got back from a great vacation in Kauai! We saw a lot of swimming turtles, whales, Hawaiian monk seals, birds and roosters and chickens! Yes I said roosters and chickens roam wild on the island. Very excited to start some new paintings. Stay tuned!
