This is a scene from Kings Gaps' garden. Everything was in full bloom and the bees were busy, buzzing and very happy! I thought the purple flowers and the yellow background flowers were so vivid and alive. Sparking the bees enthusiasm and mine!

This is one of the first watercolor paintings that I painted. This was a scene from Myrtle Beach while we were on vacation many years ago when our son was very young and didn't want to leave the beach. It is painted from a photograph which I intended from the very start to develop into a painting. I was very happy with the results and cherish those memories every time I look at the painting.

This is a new still life painting of one of my heirlooms. It is an antique milk glass juicer that belonged to my grandmother which she used when my father was born. I also used a pretty silver trimmed plate to compliment it and showcase the fruit.

It's that time of year! I thought it would be a good choice to post this painting since the Pennsylvania State Farm Show in Harrisburg starts Saturday. I just love to walk the show and get a real close up and personal view of all the farm animals, people and food. I find life on the farm to be an inspiration.
