This is a squirrel in our neighborhood who curled up with his tail, trying to stay warm on a very cold winters day. On this particular branch I can see and get my photo references from my upstairs window.  This was an adventure for sure. I never painted in the dark and it proved very interesting and fun to do. The tree was up lit so it created a nice center of interest. This was in the yard where we stayed at Martha's Vineyard. Made even more fun my painting buddies and hubby were with me!
